FESTIVAL LIFE: TORONTO URBAN ROOTS FESTIVAL

I'm probably is the least enthusiast person at a music festival. I either can be found in the photo pit photographing, sitting under the shade or even worst, always spotted at the charging station. I just don't know what I have against music festival in general but somehow I managed to actually have fun.

The best part of it is that the fact I got to see Born Ruffians (again) and witnessed Mitch getting sunscreened by their sound guy.

I mean, gotta stay protected, right??????

And I managed to get his setlist (again).

Oh, I also got to see Local Natives and Beirut.

and Hollerado...such a holy experience.

Sadly, I have to miss the second day because of work but the third day was hella awesome. I got to do some work with Twin Forks.

and ootd duh

and...I finally got to see Jeff Tweedy live!!!!!

And I found my pal, Emily.

To end this awkward blog post, here have more Hollerado. P.s they're so fuckin rad.

xx

First batch: tour of my dorm room.

Dorm hallway.

Clothes rack (because my closet isn't enough.)

Records, etc.

More clothes because why not.

Second batch: the night after first exam. i barely remember a thing that happened that night.

Meet Feli.

Third batch: Arctic Monkeys

That's pretty much it for now. Gotta clean up. xx

LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: Rotate This

If you live in Toronto and is a big fan of music, you probably know about Rotate This but if you don't, you're in for a treat.

It located at 801 Queen Street West, kinda near from the Trinity Bellwoods park and beside selling records for a very affordable price, they also sell concert tickets of your favourite bands (+ some local festivals as well). You could check what tickets they're having on their website here where they update it everyday!

Earlier last week, me and a friend went for a visit to get couple tickets to see The Chain Gang of 1974 in June and for SKATERS tomorrow. I always purchase my tickets here because the fact that I don't have to go to the bank to deposit money to my card and the fact that I don't have to pay overpriced service fee off ticketing sites; its a plus plus for my time and my wallet!

If you got a chance to check them out, let me know what you think!
